As a Hawaiian, it was important to create a brand that reflected both my culture, but also a message I believe in.

In the Hawaiian language, KUPU means to sprout, to grow, or to increase.

KUPU was inspired by the kupukupu fern, one of the first plants to emerge after a lava flow. The kupukupu pushes through hardened lava and becomes a symbol of resilience, growth, and new beginnings.

We all experience our own lava flows— moments that test us, challenge us, and shape who we become.

That idea became the foundation of this brand.

KUPU was created to encourage resilience, inspire growth, and serve as a reminder to keep moving forward, keep smiling, and keep showing up!
